Ugadi event 2024 is Sold out, registration closed, we had 150+ confirmed registration. Next event we will plan in bigger event hall to accommodate more Kannadigas.
The Kannada New Year festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm and traditional fervor in Karnataka, India. Falling in March or April, it marks the beginning of a new lunar calendar year. Preparation begins days ahead with thorough cleaning and decorating of houses.
On Ugadi day, people get up early, take oil bath and wear new clothes. They offer prayers at temples, seeking blessings for prosperity and success in the coming year. Preparation of “Ugadi Pachadi” or “Neem Jaggery”.
